Constructing a school is more than just erecting a building; it’s creating a space where minds are nurtured, knowledge is gained, and futures are shaped. It’s an investment in the next generation, a cornerstone of a thriving community. Therefore:-
Wabe Children’s Aid and Training (WCAT) has Put An unforgettable impression great work while implementing the school construction project at Lay Gayint Filla woreda collaborate with the financial and technical support of Welthungerhilfe and its back donor Fly. Before the project intervention, the school had 2 old school buildings made from wood with dusty floor, two old non-functioning toilets. In addition, there was no access to clean potable water in the school compound. After identifying these critical problems, the project constructed:
- 1 School Building having 4 classrooms constructed.
- 70 combined desks provided for the school.
- 1 Standard Library constructed and fulfilled with reference books and furniture
- 2 Separate toilets renovated and made convenient the sanitation facilities for school children
- 2 Hand washing facilities constructed near to the renovated toilets.
- 1 Water tap constructed for safe drinking water supply in the target school.
- 2 Water reservoir water tankers installed for hand washing.
- The hygiene and sanitation club strengthened with capacity building trainings
In conclusion, the constructing of Lay Gayint Filla woreda primary school is a significant undertaking that requires careful according to planning, collaboration, and a commitment to providing a quality learning environment. It’s a tangible investment in the future of a community and a testament to the importance of education. In addition this project was monitored via stakeholders played significant role in monitoring the progress and the quality of the school construction activities.
