Producing MHM hygiene products is one of WCAT’s key activities, making a significant contribution to supporting female students for their education. By addressing menstrual hygiene challenges, this initiative helps young girls stay in school and focus on their studies without disruption. Ensuring access to proper hygiene materials plays a crucial role in improving their academic performance and overall well-being. For this reason:-
WCAT provides training on self-producing MHM hygiene products, empowering students with the skills to create sustainable and affordable solutions via creating locally producing. Additionally, After producing WCAT distributes essential MHM hygiene products for their targeted Schools and Students to preventing the shock and embarrassment that many Femals students experience due to a lack of menstrual hygiene resources especially in rural areas like Estie Woreda. This initiative not only promotes dignity and confidence among female students but also fosters a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.
